Butterflies are not the only visitors we have been having at Belsay Woodland Burials over the last few weeks. We have been amazed by the response we have had from people far and wide. Many people have been to see us and reserved Burial plots for the future, and we have three burials booked over the next week. Sam has been out exercising in his cart this morning in preparation.
We were very proud to host our first burial last week for Mr George Crossman. George, who died at the grand age of 90 years old, grew up a few fields away from our beautiful burial ground.
BBC Radio Newcastle featured an interview with Laura de Wesselow about the opening of Belsay Woodland Burials on their Sunday morning Michael Poulter Show. Follow the link below. Press play and then move the scroll bar to 209.35 to hear it.
